Sacramento Resource Area For Teaching's (RAFT) mission is to provide teachers and those who teach children inexpensive materials, lessons, activity kits and resources to encourage hands-on learning in the classroom or community group. Sacramento RAFT opens every Saturday from 9:30AM to 4:00PM so teachers can shop for materials for their classrooms.

We are looking for volunteers to work in various positions around our warehouse helping to give great service to our members. Some of the volunteer tasks include: Greeting, bagging, cleaning, stocking, helping customers load their cars and retail assistance; sorting donated pallets, packaging materials and cleaning the warehouse; and packaging teacher resource kits. All volunteer events require light lifting and repetitive movements, although heavy lifting will be done with pallet jacks, hand-trucks and forklifts.

Lunch will be provided.
